CPT Israel Manalansan was born in San Roque Arbol Lubao Pampanga, Philippines and moved to San Diego, California when he was 7 years old.  Joined the U.S Army right after High School on August 1998 and went to basic training  at Fort Jackson, SC .He is a graduate of California State San Marcos University where he received a Bachelor Degree in Sociology; CPT Manalansan is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration Degree from Webster University.  He was commissioned through San Diego State Reserve Officer Training Corp Program in 2005 as a Second Lieutenant in the Signal Branch.
CPT Manalansan’s training and military schools include:  Signal Officer Basic Course; Finance Captains Career Course; Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution Course; and Army Basic Instructor Course.
CPT Manalansan has served in leadership and staff positions to include:  Signal Platoon Leader and OIC Forward C2 Cell, HQ Company, 1st Battalion, 60th Infantry Battalion, Camp Virginia, Kuwait and Cedar II, Iraq; Joint Network Node Platoon Leader, C Company, 40th BSTB, San Diego, CA; Battalion Signal Officer, HQ, 1st Battalion, 84th Infantry Battalion, Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo; Battalion Operations Officer, 120th AG BN (REC), Fort Jackson, SC and Instructor/Writer, Captains Career Course, Combined Arms Department, Soldier Support Institute, Fort Jackson, SC. 
CPT Manalansan’s awards and decorations include:  Army Commendation Medal (3), Army Achievement Medal (1), Iraq Campaign Medal, NATO Medal (2), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service, and Army Service Medal.    

CPT Manalansan is married and has one daughter. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and supporting the Military Ministry on post.  Favorite versus from the bible are: Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, John 3:3, John 14:6, Romans 10:9-11, 2 Corinthians 5:15, and Revelation 3:20.


1SG FordFirst Sergeant Kanisha S. Evans
First Sergeant Kanisha S. Evans, a native of Cassopolis, Michigan, enlisted in the U.S. Army in August 1996.  She attended Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.  Her first duty assignment was Hohenfels, Germany, where she was assigned to the 282nd Base Support Battalion as an Administrative Specialist.  She was then assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, Regimental Support Squadron, 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California, where she was assigned as a Personnel Specialist.  During her tour there, she was awarded the Order of the Spur for her demonstrated skills, discipline and fitness level.  In 2000, she was reassigned to Fort Carson, Colorado, where she was assigned to the 4th Engineer Battalion, the 64th Forward Support Battalion, and the 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, as a Senior Human Resources Sergeant.  While assigned to the 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, she was awarded the Combat Action Badge while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  She was then assigned to Fort Gordon, Georgia, where she served as an Assistant Inspector General for the Signal Center of Excellence and First Sergeant of Headquarters and Headquarters Company, U.S. Army Garrison.  In 2010, she was reassigned to Fort Bliss, Texas, were she served as the 32nd Army Air and Missile Defense Command G1 Senior Human Resources Sergeant.  She is currently assigned to Fort Jackson, South Carolina, where she serves as the First Sergeant for Charlie Company, Training Support Battalion.
First Sergeant Evans’ military education includes the Manager’s Development Course; Supervisor’s Development Course; Warrior Leaders Course, Fort Lewis, Washington; Advanced Leaders Course and Senior Leaders Course, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; Inspector General Course, Fort Belvoir, Virginia; and the First Sergeant Course, Fort Bliss, Texas.  She has earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Bachelor’s Degree in Resource and Technology Management from Troy University.
First Sergeant Evans’ awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (2nd Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (Silver Oak Leaf Cluster), Good Conduct Medal (5th Knot Device), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (#3 Device), Overseas Service Ribbon (#2 Device). She was also awarded the Driver’s Badge – Wheeled, the Combat Action Badge and is a recipient of the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara and the Major General Horatio Gates Bronze Medal and is an active member of the prestigious Sergeant Audie Murphy Club.

MISSION

Provide mission command, conduct training, and execute sustainment operations in support of permanent party Soldiers and MOS-Training Soldiers attending MOS and Additional Skill Identifier courses assigned or attached to Charlie Company, Training Support Battalion.
