Hurricane Isaac is expected to clear the New Orleans area on Thursday, August 30, 2012. Due to continuing weather conditions, administrative leave for OCFO New Orleans employees will be continued through Friday, August 31, 2012. Currently, the Michoud Assembly Facility is expected to reopen at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012, and employees should report for duty as scheduled or as directed by their supervisor. Employees who normally work on off hour shifts should plan to resume their normal schedules on Saturday, September 1, 2012.

Due to the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 3, 2012, many employees will not report to the office until Tuesday, September 4, 2012. If you have any questions or experience any difficulty in reporting for duty, please contact your immediate supervisor.

This is the update regarding Hurricane Isaac for all OCFO New Orleans employees for Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Hurricane Isaac is moving through the greater New Orleans area and the Michoud Assembly Facility remains closed. OCFO New Orleans employees are granted administrative leave for Wednesday, August 29th. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
