February 11, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service turned over custody of two vehicles, a 1995 Lincoln Town Car and a 1965 Ford Mustang to the Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicles were seized by the DEA in the course of two investigations in which the vehicles were either used in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime or purchased with funds from illegal sources.


February 11, 2013 - U.S. Marshal Steve Frank announces the arrest of Pittsburgh Police homicide suspect Tyqwan Brooks, who was taken into custody in Antioch, TN. Brooks had been wanted for the murder of a Pittsburgh man and evaded arrest since September.


February 11, 2013 - U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Louisiana Genny May announced that Ladrakeous Dean was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in New Orleans, La. Dean was wanted by the San Rafael Police Department for attempted murder and parole violation.


February 08, 2013 -  The U.S. Marshals Service, Roanoke, Alabama Police Department and Randolph County Sheriff’s Department announce the arrest of fugitive Danny Foster in Miami, Florida. Foster was wanted for Assault, Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling and Escape.


February 08, 2013 - U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Louisiana Genny May announced that Jamal Jenkins was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Metairie, La. Jenkins was considered the number one most wanted man in Pinellas County, Fla., with a reward of up to $50,000 being offered for information leading to his arrest. Jenkins was wanted by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office for two counts of murder.


February 08, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service Violent Offender Task Force has arrested a Vermont fugitive who was wanted for Aggravated Assault and Robbery with a Weapon.  Kevin “Buster” Beaupre was arrested in Charlotte, Vermont when located by Deputy U.S. Marshals and Vermont State Troopers. Beaupre had been on the run since May 2012 after being convicted and awaiting sentencing for Assault and Robbery with a Weapon.


February 08, 2013 - U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced today that the United States Marshals Service arrested John Cheek in Virginia. On February 3, it is alleged that a man, later identified as John Cheek, attempted to lure a young child into his vehicle in Pittston.


February 08, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals South West Investigative Team task force (SWIFT) arrested Vicente Gutierrez just south of Las Vegas, NM. U.S. Marshals attempted to pull the vehicle over and were assisted by NM State Police when Gutierrez refused to stop. Vicente Gutierrez is charged with Murder and is the suspect of a double homicide that occurred in Bernalillo County on April 9, 2012.


February 07, 2013 - Boris Augusto Alvarado was arrested by the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force upon his arrival into the Miami International Airport. Alvarado was the subject of a fugitive investigation undertaken by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in 2005 when Alvarado failed to maintain his sex offender registration.


February 07, 2013 - The U.S. Marshal Service District of New Mexico added Nathan Rowland to their list of Most Wanted Gang Offenders. Rowland is a known gang member who frequents the areas of Silver City, and Bayard, NM. Rowland is a member with the “Los Carnales” gang, and has an extensive criminal history including. It is also believed that Rowland routinely carries a firearm and is considered armed and extremely dangerous.


February 05, 2013 - After 21 years, the U.S. Marshals Service in Albuquerque, NM, was instrumental in the capture of Brian Washington, ending his flight from justice. Washington has been a fugitive and has moved from state to state starting over and changing his name. On August 12, 1992, a warrant was issued for Brian Washington for violating his Federal Probation. Washington's original arrest and conviction was for Distribution of Crack Cocaine.


February 05, 2013 - Arthur Huffman was arrested last evening in Salem, Mass. by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force from Massachusetts, along with members of the Salem Police Department. This arrest culminated a multi-state search by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Texas.


February 04, 2013 - U.S. Marshals and Roswell Police Officers arrested New Mexico’s Most Wanted Violent Gang Offender, Jeremy Conde. Conde is a known member of the Crazy Town Roswell (CTR) gang and because of his violent criminal history he was placed on the top of the Marshals Service New Mexico’s Most Wanted.


January 31, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended the last two suspects of five people who have been charged by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office with Kidnapping, Robbery and Aggravated Assault. Bertina Eloise Krider and Shannon Elizabeth Yeary were captured at a home in Niceville, FL.


January 30, 2013 - Anna Marie Rezendes and Donald Willis were arrested this afternoon by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio without incident. An arrest warrant was sought by the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office in Oshkosh, WI, where it is alleged that Rezendes abducted her 2 year old daughter, Oceana Northup, and committed interference with child custody. Willis had an arrest warrant for allegedly violating the conditions of his probation.


January 30, 2013 - This morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Bobby Thomas. Thomas was wanted by the Lakewood Police Department for rape and kidnapping. It is alleged that beginning back in August of 2012 and continuing through October of 2012, Thomas repeatedly raped a child under the age of 14.


January 29, 2013 - The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force concluded a one day operation resulting in the arrest of 27 state felony offenders. “Operation Kestrel”, a fugitive round-up, comprised of city, county, state, and federal law enforcement officers, targeted approximately 55 fugitives with outstanding felony warrants. The operation was a collaboration of over 60 law enforcement officers from 25 various agencies that sought after fugitives residing in San Antonio, Castroville, Devine, Hondo, Lytle, Natalia, and Pearsall.


January 25, 2013 - James Troy was arrested this afternoon by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio, TX without incident. An arrest warrant was sought by the Pima County Sheriff’s Office in Tucson, AZ, where it is alleged that Troy committed 17 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor under 15 years of age.


January 25, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force in Ft. Lauderdale arrested a teacher yesterday who is wanted in New Jersey on charges of sexual assault on a student at the school where she was a teacher. Jennalin Garcia-Calle was taken into custody yesterday by U.S. Marshals and task force officers from the Ft. Lauderdale and Davie Police Departments.


January 25, 2013 - Francisco Vidal, was arrested in Cayey, Puerto Rico by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. This arrest was a cooperative effort made by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Puerto Rico, including the support and assistance of several task force members from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.


January 24, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service hosted a free training seminar for their law enforcement partners. The training served to educate and inform law enforcement officers on the use and prevalence of Patron Saints in the drug underworld. Presented by U.S. Marshal Robert Almonte from the Western District of Texas, this seminar accommodated approximately 260 members of law enforcement throughout the state of Arizona.


January 24, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Victor De La Torre-Rodriguez, of El Paso, TX early this morning without incident. De La Torre was arrested on a provisional arrest warrant from Mexico for the charge of homicide.


January 23, 2013 - Gregg Michael Scott was arrested yesterday evening by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio without incident. An arrest warrant was sought by the Texas Department of Public Safety, where it is alleged that Scott failed to comply with sex offender registration.


January 23, 2013 - U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced today that the United States Marshals Service arrested Dan Burch in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. In May 2007, Burch was arrested in Liberty County, Texas on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.


January 22, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Fugitive Task Force, acting on information provided by the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Offenders Task Force out of the district of Puerto Rico, arrested Justo Bermudez Stevens in the Bronx today. Bermudez Stevens was on the Puerto Rico Top Ten Most Wanted list since a federal grand jury returned an indictment on 66 individuals allegedly involved in a violent drug trafficking gang operating in Ponce.


January 22, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service Vermont Violent Offender Task Force arrested a Franklin County man who was wanted for an aggravated assault which occurred on Intervale Avenue in Burlington, VT. Connor J. Bushell was arrested at his home in Fletcher, Vermont by Deputy U.S. Marshals and a University of Vermont Police Department Task Force Officer.


January 18, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service proudly joins the nation in celebrating the birth and life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK). Congress passed the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and Service Act on August 23, 1994, which designated the holiday as a national day of volunteer service.


January 18, 2013 - Irene Rose Rubio was arrested this evening by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio without incident. An arrest warrant was sought by the United States Marshals Service, where it is alleged that Rubio provided false and fraudulent statements during an investigation.


January 18, 2013 - Jonathan Higgins was arrested in Allenstown, NH after being found secreted behind a false wall in a bedroom closet. This arrest was made by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, including members from the Allenstown Police Department, Rockingham & Belknap County Sheriff’s Office, and the Greenfield Police Department. Higgins was wanted on an outstanding Probation Violation stemming from an original conviction and sentence for Burglary and Narcotics offenses.


January 17, 2013 - Nicholas Saldana was arrested this evening by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio without incident. Arrest warrants were sought by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) Homicide Division, where it is alleged that Saldana committed aggravated assault and first degree murder.


January 17, 2013 - Joseph Krist III was arrested yesterday afternoon by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force near Garner State Park in Concan, TX without incident. Krist was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service on an arrest warrant issued by the U.S. District Court in San Antonio, where it is alleged that he violated the conditions of his supervised release.


January 17, 2013 - Julian L. Sims, the suspect in a New Year’s Eve shooting that injured four people when he allegedly crashed a party in McKeesport, has been arrested by Task Force Officers. Allegheny County police issued a warrant for Julian Sims on charges of criminal attempt homicide, four counts of aggravated assault, four counts of recklessly endangering others and firearms violations.


January 17, 2013 - This week’s ‘Fugitive of the Week’, Kristin Murphy, surrendered at the Manchester Police Department on January 15, 2013. Murphy, who was last known to reside in Raymond, NH had been wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for a probation violation. This probation violation warrant was based a prior conviction for possession of heroin.


January 16, 2013 - Adrian Casares was arrested last night by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in San Antonio without incident. Arrest warrants were sought by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office in Nebraska, where it is alleged that Casares committed terroristic threats and the use of a firearm to commit a felony.



January 15, 2013 - United States Marshal Martin J. Pane announced today that the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Stephen Davis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Davis was being sought for a homicide that occurred on December 4, 2012 in in Harrisburg, PA.


January 15, 2013 - Members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force brought to justice an alleged rapist/kidnapper yesterday afternoon. Jerry Daniels stands accused of especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape. He has been a fugitive since the issuance of warrants for these crimes on Christmas Eve, 2012.


January 11, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force captured a wanted man who is being sought in three counties. The capture came while the Task Force was conducting surveillance of a home on Saleta Street, and they saw fugitive Antwan Jernell Thomas arrive and go inside.


January 11, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force captured fugitive Bryan Greenlee, 36, this afternoon in a Gainesville neighborhood near Newberry Road. Greenlee was wanted by the Levy County Sheriff’s Office on four separate counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.


January 10, 2013 - On Saturday, January 5, 2012, Guillermo Ulloa was deported from Mexico by Mexican law enforcement personnel and was taken into custody by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Ulloa, wanted on 11 felony counts for sexual exploitation of a child by Maricopa County, was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility and is pending extradition proceedings back to Arizona.


January 10, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Travis Weaver today. Weaver, a suspect in a violent crime, was wanted for especially aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery. He was implicated in a Dec. 1, 2012 crime where a male victim was allegedly removed from his car at gunpoint and robbed by two suspects.


January 09, 2013 - This week’s ‘Fugitive of the Week’ Carl Carlson was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals – NH Joint Fugitive Task Force in Barrington, NH. Carl Carlson, whose last known address had been in Nashua, NH had been wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants.


January 09, 2013 - Derrick Mascus, of Minneapolis, Minnesota was arrested by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force this afternoon without incident in north Austin. Mascus recently arrived to the Austin area after Minneapolis authorities charged Mascus with 1st and 3rd Degree Sexual Assault.


January 09, 2013 - Scotty Antoine, of New Iberia, Louisiana was arrested by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force this afternoon without incident in Round Rock, Texas. Antoine recently arrived to the Austin shortly after the first of the year after New Iberia authorities charged Antoine with 1st Degree Robbery.


January 09, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force (FRFTF) captured fugitive Bryon Killin yesterday in southeast Ocala. Killins was wanted by the Orlando Police Department for several offenses including: first-degree murder, accessory after the fact, and tampering with physical evidence.


January 08, 2013 - U.S. Marshal Don O’Keefe is proud to announce the arrest of Dexter Oliver, who was sought by the San Francisco Police Department for his role in an attack on a woman in San Francisco on Sunday. Allegedly, Dexter Oliver was involved in an altercation with a woman outside of a laundromat in San Francisco’s Bayview district when he threw a flammable liquid on her and set her on fire.


January 08, 2013 - U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced today that the United States Marshals Service arrested Richard Veboys in Scranton, Pennsylvania. In 1988, Veboys was arrested for lewd and lascivious acts on a child, as well as other sex offenses, in Sarasota County Florida. Veboys was convicted of this crime in 1989. In May of 1989, an arrest warrant was issued for Veboys on violations of probation. Veboys could not be located in Florida and was believed to have fled the area.


January 07, 2013 - James Anthony Rubio was arrested this evening by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Bandera, TX without incident. An arrest warrant was issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, where it is alleged that Rubio failed to comply with civil commitment requirements, failed to comply with sex offender registration, and committed a sex offense.


January 07, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force assisted by officers from the Erie Bureau of Police arrested James Gates III. Gates was taken into custody in Erie, PA. Gates is believed to be a member of the “Stick Up Kidz” in Erie. Several members are alleged to have committed home invasion robberies and burglaries in the Erie County area. Gates is wanted on charges of Robbery, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Corrupt Organizations, Criminal Conspiracy to a Corrupt Organization, Burglary, Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Theft by Unlawful Taking and Conspiracy to Commit Theft by Deception.


January 05, 2013 - U.S. Marshal Albert Najera, of the Eastern District of California, announced today that the U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force (PSWRFTF), with assistance from the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Team (SOFAST), arrested Domingo Antonio Cruz and Fausto Ramirez Martinez of Selma, California for Murder and Accessory to Murder in Cincinnati Ohio.


January 02, 2013 - The U.S. Marshals Service entered into contracts totaling more than $3 million with buyers Monday on the sale of three of five real properties titled to Rita Crundwell, the former comptroller of Dixon, Ill., who pleaded guilty to a federal charge of fraud in November.
