Notification and Federal Anti-Discrimination and Retaliation Act

On May 15, 2002, President Bush signed legislation called the Notification and Federal Anti-Discrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002 (No FEAR Act) . This act, which took effect on October 1, 2003, increases the accountability of federal agencies for violations of anti-discrimination and whistleblower protection laws.

One of the requirements of the No FEAR Act is that federal agencies post on their public web sites certain summary statistical data relating to equal employment opportunity complaints filed against the agency. The IG Equal Employment Opportunity Office has posted this data in compliance with the No FEAR Act.
