The Electronic Advance Passenger Information System (eAPIS) web portal enables users to create, manage, and submit APIS manifests.
- APIS Pre-Departure Certified Vendor List

CBP has developed a list of carriers or vendors that have completed testing to process interactive APIS Pre-Departure data and that have agreed to have their company included on the Certified Vendor List. This list will be periodically updated as additional carriers or vendors are added.

The APIS Pre-Departure Final Rule amends the time within which APIS data must be transmitted to CBP for commercial air passengers arriving into and departing from the United States and specifies three options for transmitting the data. It also amends the time within which APIS data must be transmitted to CBP for commercial vessel carriers departing from the United States.

- Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) Document Submission Requirements for Arrival Into and Departure From the United States
The APIS Final Rule (AFR), 70 Fed. Reg. 17820 (April 7, 2005), defines the data required within a carrier's electronic arrival and departure passenger manifests. Among other APIS data elements such as name and date of birth, certain document submission requirements apply to travelers arriving into or departing from the United States.

The CBP AIR APIS Guide can be used by all commercial air carriers as a reference tool detailing APIS data elements and the process by which CBP assesses APIS manifest submissions.
Commercial vessel carriers can reference the CBP Vessel APIS Guide for details regarding vessel APIS data elements and the CBP APIS manifest submission process.

Provides guidance on the APIS gateway to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Crew Vetting Program (CVP) in order to provide Master Crew List (MCL) and Flight Crew Manifest (FCM) APIS transmissions for crew members and non-crew members, as required.

The Bus APIS program is designed to facilitate travel and improve border security by providing for the voluntary submission of Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) manifest data to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Bus carriers have the opportunity to submit trip and traveler information electronically to CBP for buses arriving in or departing from certain United States ports of entry.
arrowRail APIS
The Rail APIS program is designed to facilitate travel and improve border security by providing for the voluntary submission of Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) manifest data to CBP. Rail carriers have the opportunity to submit trip and traveler information electronically for trains arriving in or departing from certain U.S. ports of entry.
