Command Information is communication about, between and for the Commander, Blue
Grass Army Depot and members of his command , staff and personnel of all
subordinate commands and all their family members. This is accomplished in
part through the production of The Detonator (monthly newsletter), this Web site
and social networking/media sites such as Facebook, Youtube and Flickr.
Public Information is the acquisition and dissemination of information through
the civilian news media. It includes coordinating news correspondents'
coverage of operations, responding to their queires, releasing news stories and
conducting activities in support of the command's Community Relations program.
Community Relatins helps analyze local public opinion, coordinates command
speakers for the local community, assists with support for ceremonial
funcitons, and provides assistance in the scheduling and support of Blue Grass
Army Depot.
