It’s a Noisy Planet. On Jeopardy!

Jeopardy!Viewers learned about the importance of protecting their hearing during a special Kids Week episode of Jeopardy! that broadcast on July 30, 2012. The episode featured the NIDCD It’s a Noisy Planet. Protect Their Hearing ® campaign. After the show aired, visits to the Noisy Planet website more than doubled, and many new followers “liked” the Noisy Planet Facebook page. The campaign teaches parents and tweens (children ages 8-12) about healthy hearing habits to protect them from noise-induced hearing loss, which is cumulative, permanent, and preventable.
