Rural Outpatient Clinic
The Utuado Clinic is a Satellite of the San Juan VA Medical Center, and was established in January 25, 2010 to improve access to Primary Care services for veterans in Utuado and and the surrounding municipalities. We currently provide a variety of services:
- Primary Care
- Preventive Health Care
- Care of Chronic Conditions
- Prescriptions: Prescriptions processed in our main facility, through the mail or My HealtheVet.
Please note that this is not a Community Based or Outpatient clinic and does not have emergency rooms. In case of emergency, it is advisable to contact 911 or a hospital based emergency room.
Driving Directions
Take PR-22 O/AUTOPISTA JOSÉ DE DIEGO toward BAYAMÓN Merge onto PR-10 S via EXIT 75B toward UTUADO/ADJUNTAS. Turn LEFT onto PR-111 E.,stay STRAIGHT to go onto PR-111R. Stay straight on PR-111R, pass a Walgreen’s and a McDonalds, Turn left at the next stop light onto road 111 heading to Jayuya. Turn right on the second stop light toward “Hospital Metropolitano de la Montana” Stay straight, The “Hospital Metropolitano de la Montana” will be at the right, pass the Emergency Room of the Hospital and make another right turn. Enter the VA Utuado Rural Clinic by using the third gate at your right.
