U.S. Department of Defense/Office of Secretary of Defense: Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program; Workforce Recruitment Program. Provides employers nationwide with a database to identify qualified applicants with disabilities for a variety of jobs.

U.S. Department of Education: Centers for Independent Living. Provides information designed to maximize the independence and productivity of individuals with disabilities and to integrate these individuals into the mainstream of American society.

U.S. Department of Education: Directory of Independent Living Centers. Provides a directory of Independent Living Centers throughout the country.

U.S. Department of Education: National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research. Provides leadership and support for research related to the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities.

U.S. Department of Education: Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). Provides leadership to programs concerning vocational rehabilitation, supported employment and independent living for individuals with disabilities.

U.S. Department of Education: Office of Special Education Programs. Focuses on improving results for children with disabilities by providing leadership and financial support to assist states and local districts through administration of the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

U.S. Department of Labor: Employer Assistance Referral Network (EARN)-Assists Employers. Assists employers in locating and recruiting qualified people with disabilities.

ADA Technical Assistance Program. Provides information, materials, technical assistance, and training on the ADA through Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTACs).

Adaptive Environments Center, Inc. Advocates for accessibility and universal designs for people with disabilities to participate fully in all aspects of society.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing in Government.  DHHIG is a national non-profit organization whose purpose is two-fold. It serves as an employee support group for Federal employees who are either Deaf or Hard of Hearing and as a resource organization for the nationwide Federal government.

DisABILITY Communities: Disability related products. Provides information on assistive devices and resources for people with disabilities.

Disability World. Provides international disability news and views through bi-monthly online magazine.

Easter Seals: Project ACTION. Promotes improved access to transportation for people with disabilities and assists transportation operates to implement the ADA.

Equal Opportunity Publications, Inc. Publishes a career—guidance and recruitment magazine for people with disabilities.

Goodwill Industries International, Inc. Provides employment and training services for people with disabilities.

Go To Work. Describes annual multi-agency conference about how to promote the economic security of people with disabilities through increased employment.

Job Accommodation Network (JAN). Provides information about job accommodations, the ADA and employment of people with disabilities.

Mainstream online: Magazine of the able-disabled. Provides information on issues of concern to people with disabilities.

Mobility International USA: National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange. Focuses on promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in international exchange and development programs.

National Business and Disability Council/Abilities, Inc. Provides information on the employment and integration of individuals with disabilities into the workforce.

National Council for Independent Living. Advocates for independent living for people with disabilities to further their integration and participation in society.

National Industries for the Blind. Focusing on expanding the business potential, opportunities and reach of associated agencies and individuals who are blind.
