Notices to Lessees

The following is a listing of those Notices to Lessees and Operators (NTL's) that have been issued and are currently effective for Pacific OCS Region leases. These NTL's supplement the regulations that govern operations on the OCS and provide clarification or interpretation of regulations and further guidance to lessees and operators in the conduct of safe and environmentally sound operations.

There are two types of NTL's: those issued at the regional level pertinent just for the Pacific Region and those issued nationally that are effective nationwide for all MMS regions.

In addition to NTL's, the National NTL list will include all Notices to Lessees, Operators and Applicants for Federal Renewable Energy Leases and Grants and Alternate Use Grants (NTLA's), such as NTLA No. REN-N01, Applications for Renewable Energy Leases and Grants and Alternate Use Grants on the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf, effective June 22, 2009.
