HHS Recovery Act Recipient Reporting Readiness Tool - Help

Award data provided through this tool may be cut and pasted directly into OMB’s Recipient Report format to assist grantees in populating their reports. This tool does not provide all of OMB’s required data elements to satisfy grantee reporting requirements. Some requirements are specific to your roles and responsibilities for administering your award. Data made available through the tool are collected and posted in accordance with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act) and Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Federal Agency requirements. For additional questions or concerns on complete reporting requirements for your award, please contact your appropriate grants management specialist or Agency point of contact.

How to Find Your Information

To review the data that HHS has available for your organization simply search the system by your organization’s Name or Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS). DUNS are required to apply for a grant award, and to register on FederalReporting.gov.

To search by your organization’s Name please select the State where your organization resides, and then use the alphabetical listing at the top of the page to locate your organization’s Name from the full list of recipients. To search by your organization’s DUNS please enter your DUNS in the box provided on this page and click submit. Both searches yield a list of awards associated with your organization. Please select the specific Award Title or grant program award you wish to review and follow the quick and easy steps to locate, copy, and paste information into your recipient report for FederalReporting.gov.

HHS technical support e-mail: readinesstool@l-3com.com) is available to assist you in any difficulties you may have in cutting and pasting data into recipient reports. HHS is not responsible for any technical errors that may result from uploading final recipient reports on FederalReporting.gov or specific data entry into FederalReporting.gov. Please contact Federal Reporting.gov Help for specific questions on FederalReporting.gov data entry. For a full description of HHS Recovery Act Recipient Reporting Readiness Tool limitations and data quality parameters, please visit the Data Quality page.

The Award Details page generated through your search contains the data our system currently has available to help you populate your recipient reports. The page is modeled after OMB’s Recipient Report format to help you locate and copy your data to get started with FederalReporting.gov data entry. The Award Details page is presented in two formats - one designed to replicate the Recipient Report for easy data copy and paste; and the other in 508-compliant format. Users can switch between the two formats as needed by clicking a link. If you do not see your organization’s data following your search, please contact your grants management specialist or Agency point of contact. A list of Recovery Act Agency contacts are also available at Contacts.
