For over 30 years, NIC has been recognized for its quality learner-centered instruction. NIC currently offers classroom training, Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT), and self-paced e-courses that you can access online any time, any place via the NIC Learning Center. Access is available to corrections professionals whose jobs are categorized as executive management, middle management, firstline supervision, offender programming, or training/staff development.

In addition, NIC is offering the Frontline Learning Center to correctional officers, detention officers, probation and parole officers, reentry specialists, correctional health professionals, and other correctional line staff. There are currently over 70 e-courses available in corrections topics, communication, ethics, team skills, and leadership.

The PREA Learning Center is available to all staff working in correctional settings wishing to take the e-course Your Role: Responding to Sexual Abuse.


NIC Learning Center Highlights
