Where You Live

Acting Locally - Getting involved to make a difference in your community.
The pollution prevention (P2) approach seeks to avoid the creation of pollutants rather than control or manage them after they have been generated. Every EPA Regional office supports pollution prevention activities that reduce or eliminate the sources of waste and pollutants through work with voluntary programs, partnerships with business and industry, state and local governments, citizens groups and other federal agencies. EPA Regional programs also manage their own grant programs that promote pollution prevention through source reduction and resource conservation.

To find regional P2 information web sites, click the area of the map which includes your state.

Contacts for EPA Regional P2 Programs appear below the map.

It is often helpful to browse regional sites to find programs available in your area as well as the issues affecting your part of the country.
