EPA Publications:

National Service Center for Environmental Publications (NSCEP) and National Environmental Publications Internet Site (NEPIS). The NSCEP/NEPIS database provides one-stop access to all EPA paper and electronic publications. More than 7,000 in-stock and 26,000 digital titles are available free of charge to search and retrieve, download, print, and/or order from the NSCEP.

Publications on the EPA Site. This site contains links to EPA office and program Web pages that provide direct access to EPA publications or to information about EPA publications.

Search the EPA Web Site. Many EPA publications are available through EPA's web site. This link provides a simple search of the entire site.

Other Resources:

National Technical Information Service. The National Technical Information Service (NTIS), part of the Department of Commerce, is a central resource for government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information. Many EPA publications, especially older publications, can be obtained here.

Information Products Bulletin. The Information Products Bulletin (IPB) is a joint effort between EPA and the Environmental Council of the States (ECOS) to inform stakeholders and the public about upcoming significant information products being developed by EPA and by some states and territories. It describes each product, provides contact information, and when available, identifies opportunities to provide comments and other feedback on the product.

EPA Peer Review Handbook:

The Peer Review Handbook (190 pp, 1.15MB, about PDF) is a how-to manual that is used by staff across EPA and is often referred to by external stakeholders as a model of good peer review practices.
