The Defense Commissary Agency with headquarters at Fort Lee, VA., operates a worldwide chain of commissaries providing groceries to military personnel, retirees and their families in a safe and secure shopping environment. Authorized patrons purchase items at cost plus a 5–percent surcharge, which covers the costs of building new commissaries and modernizing existing ones. Shoppers save an average of more than 30 percent on their purchases compared to commercial prices – savings worth more than $4,400 annually for a family of four. Camp Casey Commissary we are increased organic items. Products that are organic are clearly labeled by the manufacturer with the UDSA Organic seal. Additionally, DeCA is putting special organic shelf signs by organic products so customers can clearly see that they are organic. By integrating them into regular selection it will allow the customer to make the best choice for themselves.
