COURSE TITLE
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

EEO/ No Fear Act. (Notification and Federal. Employee Antidiscrimination and.
Retaliation Act )

"Due to “LIMITED" staff resource and LOW attendance #s at monthly sessions, requesting organizations must contact the EEO Office at 732-6273 to scheduled MANDATORY "on-site" EEO and NoFEAR initial and refresher training, to include providing the "classroom or conference room" for training use. 

NOTES:
(1) Requesting organization are advised that training sessions MUST be conducted SEPARATELY - one for “Supervisory” and one for “NON-supervisory” staff IAW EEO regulatory guidelines.

(2) The next “face-to-face” EEO/NoFEAR training OVERVIEW (supervisory and non-supervisory) will be conducted w/ the DPTMS quarterly  training on THURSDAY, 14 JUNE 2012, 1100-1200 (REFRESHER) @ Camp Red Cloud Theater.

COURSE OBJECTIVE
To provide initial (I) and refresher (R) EEO/No Fear training for appropriated and non-appropriated fund employees. Department of the Army requires U.S. employees (AF & NAF) and military supervisors who supervise U.S. civilian employees to attend initial training and refresher training thereafter.

CONTENT
This training provides an overview of the EEO Program to include regulatory and legal bases for the program, affirmative employment action, complaint processing, reasonable accommodation, and No Fear. Participants will acquire knowledge of the overall EEO program as well as increase their ability to recognize poceived discimination and the various avenues of redress.

Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) training  is no longer conducted by the EEO Office.

The proponent office is the 2nd Infantry Division Military EO Office replaced by SHARP (Sexual Harrasment / Assault Response and Prevention Program)
